This page explains how Fantastic Finish Ltd ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects personal information you share with us when you request a quote, book a clean or contact us through this website. We are the data controller under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

  • Name, phone number, email address and postcode you submit via our quote form.
  • Photos of your property you choose to send for quoting purposes.
  • Job records — services booked, dates of visits, payments and any guarantee claims.
  • Basic technical data (IP address, browser type) when you visit this website, for security and analytics.

Why we use it

  • To prepare and send you a quote.
  • To deliver the cleaning service you've booked, including reminders the day before a visit.
  • To take payment (cash, card, bank transfer or GoCardless direct debit).
  • To meet our legal, accounting and insurance obligations.
  • To honour the free re-clean promise and the 12-month softwash guarantee where applicable.

Lawful basis

We rely on (a) performance of a contract when you book a service, (b) our legitimate interests in running the business and replying to enquiries, and (c) legal obligation for tax and accounting records.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share limited information only with: our payment processor (GoCardless), our accountant, our insurers (Simply Business and Hiscox) in the event of a claim, and HMRC where required by law.

How long we keep it

Quote enquiries are kept for up to 24 months. Customer job and payment records are kept for 6 years to meet HMRC requirements. You can ask us to delete anything we are not legally required to keep.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict how we use your data, and to object to processing. Email us to make a request. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
